Precision Time Watch Deals and Info

TIMEX-out those last changes....

Ok so the last time I was on the timex site I liked it. The minor holiday makover leaves someethign wanted and jumbles and confuses the design. I say if you are gonna go holiday on your site, go all in, ALL IN!!!!!!!!!!! But the site does a good job of communicating aklot and delivering alot of content without overwhelming the viewer. The site is broken down nicely into different sections for the sub brans all with a consitency yet also an identity of their own. Good job timex!

Audemars Piguet.......

This site ain't too shabby the images are nice, but things are kinda big. It takes a while to load and the background color well it makes me want to vomit. Anyway it's an ok site but could use anew color scheme and better load time.

what the PATEK?

The Patek Philippe website is umm interesting another let down form a high end luxury brand. The website has nice styled navigation but it lacks some over all stule and appeal it is like a flash version of a simple site it might have even be a template or something. I dunno something just doesn;t sit well with me. I do like the the zoom and descriptive view of the items. the attached image is of the zoom view.

CITIZen rock garden.....

Well ok maybe not toal zen but this site is pretty nice. It has a simple elegant design that really gives the brand the clout it deserves. Yeah it's just nice!!

GUESS what!?!?!? This site stinks!

Yeah guess was a severe let down..... The site has 2 actual pages and a 5meg 15 page PDF catalog you have to download the whole *****in thing before you can look at any of their watches. I would have tyo say at this point it is the biggest let down of all the watch sites I have looked at..... blarg!

NIX-ON!!!

Now here is some snazzzy web design! This site has nice smotth features and again does a good job of using the white space to offset the graphics. I do have one simple complaint right out of the gate..... I can't see the whole homepage on my screen, I caould understand this dilema were I running a wicked high 800x600 screen resolution but I am not. I don;t mind the need to scroll on the catalog pages and such but I would like to be able to see the whole homepage without working for it!!!!! Oh well I must say it is a slick site besides who c an argue with a watch company with over 38,000 myspace friends. =)

KENNETH COoooohhhhhL!

I really like this site for it's simplicity. I have criticized sites for this before but in this case it does well to represent the brand and doesn;t come from a lack of creativity or anythign better to but in that big white space you call a website. The site identifies the brand very well and uses the "clean" white space very well as an impact for it's product! Me likey. I think making a big white site visualy pleasing can be more difficult than making cool banner and graphics to fill the screen.
